Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting Started (Setup)
As a jacket, setup is straightforward. Simply put it on! Ensure the main zipper is fully engaged and zipped up for maximum warmth and protection. Utilize the `internal storm cuffs` by pulling them over your wrists to seal out cold air. The `side seam snaps` can be used to adjust the fit around the hips for added comfort or style, particularly when sitting or moving actively.
Compatibility
This jacket is designed to be a versatile outer layer. It pairs well with various outfits, from casual jeans and sweaters to more activewear. Its sleek design allows for easy layering underneath with base layers or lighter fleeces for added warmth in colder conditions. The `black colour family` also ensures it integrates seamlessly into most wardrobes.
Product Care & Maintenance
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your Regatta Eloria Quilted Jacket. Follow these guidelines for optimal maintenance:
- Washing: Machine wash cold (30°C / 86°F) with a mild detergent. Close all zippers and fasteners before washing. Avoid using fabric softeners as they can impair the DWR finish and insulation.
- Drying: Tumble dry on a low heat setting with a few clean tennis balls or dryer balls. This helps to redistribute and fluff the synthetic down insulation, preventing clumping. Ensure the jacket is completely dry before storing to prevent mildew.
- Ironing: Do not iron.
- Bleaching: Do not bleach.
- Dry Cleaning: Do not dry clean.
- Water Repellency Reapplication: Over time, the DWR finish may wear off. If water no longer beads up and soaks into the fabric, consider using a DWR-restoring wash-in or spray-on product specifically designed for technical outerwear. Always follow the instructions on the reproofing product.
- Storage: Store the jacket in a dry, well-ventilated area. Avoid compressing it for long periods to maintain the loft of the synthetic insulation.
