Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the boots are laced firmly and evenly from toe to ankle. The lace-up closure is key to leveraging the winged neoprene tongue for optimal lockdown. Experiment with lacing patterns to find the most comfortable and secure fit for your foot.
- Initial Wear: Wear the boots for short periods during training sessions to break them in before a full match. This helps the materials conform to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for soft, natural grass pitches. Their stud configuration and outsole stiffness are optimized for wet, muddy, or deeply grassed surfaces. They are not recommended for use on firm ground, artificial turf, or hard surfaces, as this can damage the studs and compromise performance and safety.
Care
- Post-Match Cleaning: After every use, especially on muddy pitches, brush off excess mud and debris. Use a damp cloth to wipe down the synthetic upper.
- Stud Maintenance: Regularly check the studs for wear and tear. Replace any damaged or excessively worn studs to maintain optimal grip.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can cause materials to crack or stiffen.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place. Using a boot bag can protect them from scuffs and scratches.
