Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
These shoes require no special setup. Simply unbox, try them on, and adjust the laces for a comfortable, secure fit. We recommend wearing them for short periods initially to break them in, though the Lightstrike cushioning generally offers immediate comfort.
Compatibility
- Course Conditions: Ideal for most golf course conditions, including dry to moderately damp fairways and greens. The spikeless design is perfect for courses with walking restrictions for traditional spikes.
- Off-Course Wear: The versatile spikeless ADIWEAR Outsole is designed for superior traction both on and off the course, making these shoes a great choice for clubhouse wear, driving, or casual outings.
- Attire: The retro-inspired white design pairs well with a variety of golf apparel, from traditional polos and trousers to more modern athletic wear.
Care
To ensure the longevity and appearance of your adidas Retrocross 25 Spikeless Golf Shoes:
- Cleaning the Upper: After each round, wipe the synthetic leather upper with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. For tougher stains, use a mild soap solution and a soft brush, then wipe clean.
- Outsole Maintenance: Inspect the Spikeless Fish-Scale Traction outsole regularly. Use a brush to remove any trapped grass, mud, or dirt to maintain optimal grip.
- Drying: If shoes become wet, remove insoles and stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture. Allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat or sunlight.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place. Using shoe trees can help maintain their shape.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Do not machine wash or tumble dry your golf shoes, as this can damage the materials and construction.
