This waterproof rainsuit is designed for children aged 3-4 years, providing essential protection against cold and wet weather. Its key benefit is keeping kids dry and warm during outdoor play, even in adverse conditions. A minor consideration is that it is a polyester suit with a PU coating, which may affect breathability in very high activity levels compared to more technical fabrics.

This specific suit is designed for children aged 3-4 years (UK sizing).
While the suit is waterproof and padded, it is primarily designed for rain and wind. For deep snow conditions, a dedicated snowsuit with higher insulation might be more appropriate. However, for light snow or playing in wet conditions, it can offer good protection.
The suit can be machine washed at 40°C. Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean. Tumble dry on a low heat setting.
This rating indicates the level of water pressure the fabric can withstand before leaking. 2000mm is generally considered good protection for moderate rain.
MVP (Moisture Vapor Transmission) measures how well a fabric allows moisture vapor (like sweat) to pass through it. 3000mvp suggests moderate breathability, suitable for general wear but may feel less breathable during intense physical activity compared to higher ratings.
Yes, it is designed to be worn as an outer layer over everyday clothing to provide protection from the elements.
The description mentions a 'Reflective band', suggesting it includes reflective detailing for increased visibility in low light conditions.
Ensure all seams are intact and the zip is fully closed. Check for any tears or damage to the PU coating. For persistent issues, consider re-waterproofing treatments suitable for outerwear.
This suit provides basic padding. For very cold weather, ensure adequate thermal layers are worn underneath. The suit's primary function is protection from elements, not heavy insulation on its own.
Gently pull the fabric away from the zipper teeth. Apply a small amount of wax (like beeswax or a zipper lubricant) to the teeth to help it glide smoothly. Ensure no fabric is caught in the zipper.
This could be due to the breathability limit (3000mvp) during high activity, causing condensation, or potentially moisture ingress if not fully sealed. Ensure the suit is properly aired out after use and consider lighter layers underneath if the child is very active.
Setup: This is a one-piece suit and requires no assembly. Simply ensure the child is wearing appropriate underlayers for the weather.
Compatibility: Designed for children aged 3-4 years (UK size). It is a unisex garment suitable for boys and girls.
