Setup, Compatibility & Care
First Use
When you first receive your Cronulla boots, the sheepskin lining may feel snug. This is normal. Over time, the wool will compress and mold to the shape of your feet, providing a custom, comfortable fit. It's recommended to wear them with thin socks initially to aid in this process.
Compatibility
These boots are designed as a unisex product and come in various UK sizes. The natural properties of sheepskin allow for some flexibility in fit as the material adapts to your foot shape.
Care Instructions
Maintaining your Aus Wooli Cronulla boots ensures their longevity and appearance:
- Water & Stain Protection: Before first wear and periodically thereafter, apply a quality suede and sheepskin protector spray. This enhances their water resistance and helps prevent stains.
- Cleaning: For dirt or light stains, allow the boots to dry naturally. Use a soft suede brush to gently brush off dirt. For tougher stains, a specialized sheepskin cleaner can be used. Always follow the product instructions and test on an inconspicuous area first.
- Drying: Never dry your boots with direct heat (e.g., radiator, hairdryer). This can damage the leather and sheepskin. Instead, stuff them with paper towels to absorb moisture and allow them to air dry away from direct sunlight.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. You can use boot shapers to help them maintain their form.
