Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
Your Aus Wooli Cronulla Mid Calf Sheepskin Boots are ready to wear right out of the box. Simply slide your feet in and enjoy the immediate comfort. It's normal for new sheepskin boots to feel snug at first; the wool will compress and mold to your foot shape after a few wears, providing a personalized fit.
Compatibility
These boots feature a unisex design and are suitable for adults. The classic mid-calf style in brown complements a wide range of casual attire, including jeans, leggings, and casual dresses. They are available in UK size 5.
Care and Maintenance
Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your sheepskin boots.
- Water & Stain Protection: Before first wear, and periodically thereafter, apply a high-quality suede and sheepskin protector spray. This will enhance the water resistance and help repel stains.
- Cleaning the Suede Upper:
- Allow any mud or dirt to dry completely, then gently brush off with a soft suede brush.
- For tougher stains, use a specialized suede cleaner and follow the product's instructions carefully.
- Avoid rubbing too hard, as this can damage the suede.
- Cleaning the Sheepskin Lining:
- For minor refresh, sprinkle a small amount of baking soda inside the boots, let it sit overnight, and then shake it out.
- For deeper cleaning, use a sheepskin cleaner. Gently hand wash the lining with cold water and the cleaner. Avoid harsh detergents.
- Drying: Always air dry your boots naturally, away from direct heat or sunlight. Stuff the boots with paper towels to help maintain their shape and absorb moisture. Never put them in a dryer.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place. Using boot shapers or stuffing them with paper can help prevent slouching and maintain their original form. Avoid storing in plastic bags, as sheepskin needs to breathe.
- Avoid: Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or dry clean. Do not apply harsh chemicals or soaps that are not specifically designed for suede and sheepskin.
