Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting your adidas F50 Elite boots ready for play is straightforward:
- Lacing: Fully loosen the laces to allow your foot to slide in easily.
- Insertion: Slide your foot into the boot, ensuring your heel is comfortably seated at the back.
- Tightening: Begin tightening the laces from the bottom (closest to the toes) upwards, ensuring a snug yet comfortable fit across your midfoot and ankle. The lace-up fastening allows for a personalized fit.
- Knot: Tie the laces securely to prevent them from coming undone during play.
- Break-in: New boots may feel stiff initially. Wear them for short periods during light training sessions to allow the materials to mold to your foot shape before full match play.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically engineered for adult players and are optimized for firm, dry natural grass pitches (FG). Using them on other surfaces like artificial turf (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor courts (IC) is not recommended as it may compromise performance, grip, and the durability of the boots.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your F50 Elite boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe off excess dirt and mud with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh detergents, brushes, or abrasive materials that could damage the HybridTouch upper.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight, radiators, or tumble dryers, as extreme heat can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and moisture. Using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb residual moisture.
- Product Label: Always refer to the product label inside the boot or on its original packaging for specific composition and care instructions, as these are the most accurate.
