Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Choose Your Sockliner: Before your first use, decide whether to insert the `SL` (Speed Light) sockliner for a minimalist, fast feel or the `Comfort` sockliner for enhanced cushioning and impact absorption. Both are designed to fit perfectly within the boot.
- Lacing: Ensure boots are laced securely but not overly tight. A proper lacing technique will provide a snug fit without restricting circulation, allowing the knit burrito tongue to adapt to your foot shape.
- Break-In Period: Like most high-performance football boots, the F50 Elites may benefit from a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions before a full match to allow the HybridTouch upper to mold to your foot.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically engineered for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This means they are designed for use on natural grass fields that are dry and firm. Using them on artificial turf (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces (IC) is not recommended and can lead to reduced performance, accelerated wear, or even injury due to inappropriate stud configuration.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, especially on muddy pitches, wipe down the boots with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. For tougher stains, use a mild soap solution and a soft brush. Do not machine wash or use harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can damage the materials and cause cracking or shrinkage. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag, to protect them from dust and damage. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures.
