FAQs
Are these shoes good for heavy weightlifting?
They feature a stable TPU heel stabilizer suitable for moderate lifting, though they are categorized as hybrid trainers rather than dedicated powerlifting shoes.
Do they provide good breathability?
Yes, they incorporate Climacool technology designed to wick and disperse sweat for a cool, dry experience.
What is the midsole drop on the Dropset Pro?
The trainers feature a 7 mm midsole drop, which is designed to provide a versatile platform for both training and running.
Can I use these for outdoor sports?
While the Continental rubber outsole provides excellent grip, the shoe is primarily designed for gym and indoor performance surfaces.
How heavy are the shoes?
The Adizero Dropset Pro weighs approximately 242 grams, making them highly lightweight for dynamic movement.
Do they run true to size?
These shoes come in a regular fit; it is recommended to purchase your standard athletic footwear size.
Troubleshooting
Foot slipping inside the shoe during lateral movements
Ensure the laces are tightened specifically through the midfoot eyelets to engage the internal support zones.
Difficulty cleaning dirt from mesh upper
Use a soft-bristled brush with warm water and mild detergent; dab the mesh rather than scrubbing vigorously.
Feel too firm for long-distance running
These shoes are optimized for hybrid and gym training; consider using a dedicated road running shoe for sessions exceeding 5 kilometers.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
The adidas Adizero Dropset Pro features a standard lace closure and a 7 mm midsole drop, which is designed to balance athletic performance and lifting stability. To ensure proper fit, lace the shoes securely to leverage the integrated support zones in the mesh upper. For care, keep the shoes away from extreme heat sources that might degrade the TPU components. After intense workouts, remove the liners if possible to allow moisture to evaporate fully from the Climacool zones. Wipe the mesh surface with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap if needed; avoid machine washing to maintain the structural integrity of the LightstrikePro midsole and Energyrods.
