The Trespass Scree Hiking Shoes are designed for adult hikers and outdoor enthusiasts who need reliable support and protection during varied trail adventures. These shoes provide a robust combination of waterproof protection and comfort-focused cushioning, making them an excellent choice for weekend camps and light-to-moderate trekking. While they feature a durable suede construction for enhanced longevity, potential users should note that they are specifically engineered for support and stability, which may feel slightly more rigid than lightweight running trainers.

These shoes are designed for hiking and general outdoor use. While they offer excellent grip and support, they are not intended for technical mountaineering or high-altitude climbing.
The Scree shoes are sized in UK adult foot sizes. Ensure you have enough room in the toe box to accommodate thicker hiking socks without the heel slipping.
While the shoes are waterproof and feature a gusseted tongue, they are not submerged footwear. Avoid walking in water deeper than the tongue gusset to prevent water from entering over the top.
It is best to clean the rubber outsoles after every hike to ensure the tread pattern remains effective and free of compacted mud.
Like most structured hiking footwear, they may require a short break-in period. We recommend wearing them for shorter walks before taking them on a long-distance trek.
Ensure the shoe is laced properly to prevent water from running down your leg into the opening. If dampness persists, the waterproof membrane may be compromised by heavy debris or sharp objects.
Use a specialized suede brush to lift the nap of the material. Avoid liquid cleaners unless specifically designed for suede outdoor footwear.
To ensure the longevity of your Trespass Scree Hiking Shoes, it is important to follow proper maintenance steps. Since the upper is crafted from suede, avoid machine washing or soaking the shoes. Instead, gently brush off dried mud or debris using a soft-bristled brush after each outing. If the shoes become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, as excessive heat can damage the waterproof membrane or cause the suede to stiffen. Regularly check the laces for wear and ensure the footbed is clean to maintain the intended support level.
