Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your boots remain in top condition, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: Wear your boots for shorter walks before heading out on long-distance hikes to allow the suede and footbed to contour to your feet.
- Cleaning: After muddy hikes, allow the boots to dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can crack the material. Once dry, brush off loose dirt with a soft brush.
- Suede Care: Use a specialized suede protector spray to maintain the water-repellency and appearance of the outer fabric.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area to prevent moisture buildup and potential odor.
- Lacing: Ensure the laces are snug but not overly tight across the top of the foot to maintain healthy circulation during long hikes.
