Troubleshooting

Shoes are losing cushioning effect

Check the midsole for signs of extreme wear or flattening; if the sole is compressed beyond recovery, it may be time to replace the pair.

Dirt buildup on white upper

Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove surface debris, followed by a light wipe with a specialized sneaker cleaning solution.

Slippage on smooth surfaces

Ensure the rubber outsole is free from mud or debris, as trapped dirt can temporarily reduce the effectiveness of the tread pattern.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Superior shock absorption via GEL technology
Highly breathable upper material for all-day comfort
Versatile design suitable for school or sports
Strong traction provided by the rubber outsole

Cons

White-primary colorway is prone to showing dirt
Limited to specific size ranges for children
Lightweight build may not offer heavy-duty protection for extreme terrain

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your ASICS GEL-1130 trainers, follow these guidelines:

Fit Check: Ensure there is a thumb-width of space between the toes and the front of the shoe.
Cleaning: Wipe the upper with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid soaking the shoes in water, as this can degrade the materials.
Drying: Air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can cause the glue or materials to warp.
Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place to prevent mildew or color fading on the white exterior.
