The DLX Softshell Jacket Durand is designed for active adults who need a reliable, weather-resistant outer layer that does not sacrifice comfort. Featuring a protective TPU membrane and a soft fleece lining, it excels at keeping the wearer warm and dry during light outdoor excursions or urban commutes, though its specific water-repellent design is best suited for unpredictable showers rather than prolonged heavy rainfall.

Yes, it can be machine washed on a cool, gentle cycle. Always check the care label for specific temperature guidelines.
While the TPU membrane and water-repellent zip offer protection against light showers, it is not rated for heavy or prolonged rainfall.
The hood features a simple zip-attachment at the collar that can be easily detached when not needed.
The jacket features a soft, textured fleece lining specifically designed for comfort and warmth.
Yes, as a softshell, it is designed to be more breathable than a hard-shell rain jacket, making it suitable for active use.
The DLX Durand is designed to fit standard sizing; however, if you plan on layering a thick sweater underneath, you may prefer a slightly roomier fit.
The water-repellent finish may be wearing off; consider applying a technical DWR (Durable Water Repellent) spray after a proper wash.
Check for debris or grit in the zipper track and wipe clean; applying a non-oil-based lubricant can also restore smooth movement.
To maintain the jacket's performance, it is recommended to wash the garment on a gentle cycle in cool water. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can degrade the water-repellent properties of the zipper and outer fabric. Always zip all fasteners and remove the hood before laundering to prevent snagging. For storage, hang the jacket in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the integrity of the TPU membrane.
