The DLX Durand Softshell Jacket is designed for adult men who require a reliable, versatile outer layer for outdoor adventures and daily commutes. Its primary benefit is the combination of a waterproof TPU membrane and a warm, textured fleece backing, which provides excellent protection against unpredictable weather. However, users should note that while it is highly water-repellent, it is best suited for moderate activity rather than extreme alpine conditions.

It features a TPU membrane that provides waterproof protection, making it effective against rain, though it is not a fully seam-sealed 'storm-proof' jacket.
Yes, the hood is equipped with a zip-off mechanism, allowing you to remove it whenever you prefer a collar-only silhouette.
Machine wash according to the care label, avoiding fabric softeners to protect the technical membrane and water-repellent coating.
The softshell construction is designed to balance weather protection with breathability, making it suitable for moderate activity levels.
The jacket is primarily constructed from polyester, featuring a specialized TPU membrane and an inner fleece lining.
The Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating may have worn off; consider applying a technical fabric re-proofer.
Check the zipper track for lint or small obstructions and ensure the two sides are aligned correctly before pulling the slider.
To ensure the jacket maintains its performance, avoid using heavy detergents or fabric softeners during laundering as these can degrade the water-repellent finish. Always check the internal garment tag for specific wash temperatures. When using the zip-off hood, ensure the zipper track is free of debris to ensure a smooth connection. The jacket is designed to be machine washable, though it should be hung to air dry rather than tumble dried at high heat to preserve the membrane integrity.
