Product Information

Full details

The Moose Knuckles Northdale Jacket is designed for the modern adult male seeking a blend of urban aesthetic and technical outdoor performance. Its primary benefit is the integration of high-quality down insulation within a lightweight, windproof, and water-repellent nylon shell, making it an ideal choice for transitioning between city commuting and chilly outdoor environments. However, potential buyers should note that while its design is highly functional, the relaxed fit and signature metal hardware emphasize a fashion-forward style that may feel heavier than traditional ultralight activewear.

FAQs

Is this jacket waterproof?

It is water-repellent, meaning it will protect you from light rain and snow, but it is not intended for heavy, prolonged downpours.

How should I clean the Northdale Jacket?

Professional dry cleaning or specialist down cleaning is recommended to maintain the quality of the insulation.

What does the relaxed fit mean for sizing?

The relaxed fit provides more room in the chest and shoulders compared to slim-fit jackets, allowing for comfortable layering underneath.

Can I replace the hardware if it gets damaged?

Please contact authorized support or a professional tailor specializing in premium outerwear for hardware repairs.

Is the hood removable?

No, the hood is an integrated part of the jacket design.

Troubleshooting

Zipper feels stiff or hard to operate

Ensure the track is clear of fabric or debris, and consider using a silicone-based zipper lubricant.

Down insulation appearing uneven after storage

Gently shake and pat the jacket to redistribute the down clusters evenly throughout the baffles.

Pros and Cons

Water-repellent and windproof nylon exterior
Versatile two-way zipper design
Secure storage with zippered pockets
High-quality signature metal hardware

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Moose Knuckles Northdale Jacket remains in top condition, proper care is essential. Always consult the care label inside the garment for specific washing instructions, but generally, it is recommended to professional clean the jacket to protect the down insulation. If the jacket becomes damp, hang it to dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources to prevent damage to the nylon fabric. For storage, hang the jacket on a sturdy hanger rather than folding it to maintain the loft of the down filling and the integrity of the metallic hardware.
