Product Information

Full details

The Shark BreatheClear Compact Air Purifier is an ideal solution for homeowners and apartment dwellers looking to improve indoor air quality in rooms up to 27m2. It offers the key benefit of long-term convenience through its NeverChange6 filtration system, which effectively captures 99.98% of airborne particles like dust, pollen, and viruses. While highly efficient at automated air cleaning, users should note that its performance is specifically calibrated for smaller room sizes and may not provide adequate coverage in large, open-concept living areas.

FAQs

What is the maximum room size this unit covers?

Do I need to replace the filter often?

Thanks to the NeverChange6 filtration system, the unit is designed for significantly longer intervals between replacements compared to standard HEPA purifiers.

Can I wash the primary HEPA filter?

No, only the debris defence pre-filter is washable. The main HEPA filter should be replaced according to the device status indicators.

Does it capture pet dander?

Yes, it is highly effective at capturing pet dander as part of its 99.98% particle filtration capability.

Is the unit noisy at night?

The device features intelligent sensors that dim and adjust performance; when in sleep mode, it operates quietly to minimize disruption.

Troubleshooting

The air purifier fan speed does not increase when air quality drops

Ensure the sensors are not blocked by dust or debris. Gently wipe the sensor area with a clean, dry cloth.

The unit is not dimming during low-light conditions

Check if the unit is in a location where it can clearly detect ambient light changes. Avoid placing it behind obstacles.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up your Shark BreatheClear is straightforward. Ensure the unit is placed in a central, unobstructed location within a room no larger than 27m2 to allow for proper air circulation. Keep the device away from walls or furniture to avoid blocking the intake vents.

Care Instructions:

Periodically check the debris defence washable filter; rinse with water and ensure it is completely dry before reinstalling.
Keep the external sensors clean by wiping them gently with a dry cloth to ensure accurate air quality readings.
Monitor the status indicators on the top panel for alerts regarding filter life or maintenance needs.
