The Roman Shimmer Buttoned Cardigan is an ideal choice for adults looking to elevate their seasonal wardrobe with a touch of elegance and warmth. Perfect for layering during autumn and winter, this garment provides a subtle, sophisticated shimmer that works well for both professional office settings and evening outings. It is made from polyester, which is a synthetic material. If you have extreme skin sensitivities, you may prefer to wear a soft cotton camisole underneath.
Yes, it is designed with a regular fit. We recommend ordering your standard dress size for the intended silhouette.
We recommend air drying, as high heat from a tumble dryer can cause damage to the synthetic fabric and the shimmering effect.
The garment length is approximately 58cm, which typically falls around the hip area for most individuals.
While designed for autumn and winter, it can be worn in cooler summer evenings; however, the polyester material may feel warmer than natural cotton or linen.
Avoid contact with sharp accessories like jewelry or rough bag hardware and use a fabric shaver gently if small pills appear.
Ensure you are using a mild, non-biological detergent and avoid fabric softeners, which can leave a residue on synthetic fibers.
Gently steam the garment from a safe distance, as direct high-heat ironing can potentially damage the shimmer finish.
To ensure your cardigan retains its shape and luster, machine wash it according to the garment care label settings—typically a gentle cycle with like colors. Avoid bleaching, as this can degrade the synthetic fibers and the shimmer finish. Because the cardigan is made from polyester, it is generally resistant to shrinking but should be hung or laid flat to dry to maintain its structure. Store the garment in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent potential color fading of the brown tone over long periods. When layering, pair with neutral tops to allow the shimmer texture to serve as the focal point of your outfit.
