Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Milford Peacoat retains its shape and finish, proper care is essential. As the coat is primarily crafted from cashmere, do not attempt home machine washing. We recommend brushing the coat with a soft garment brush after wear to remove surface dust and fibers. Always store the coat on a wide, wooden contoured hanger to support the structure of the shoulders and prevent misshaping. When the coat is not in use for extended periods, place it in a breathable garment bag with cedar blocks to prevent moth damage. If the coat becomes wet, shake off excess moisture and allow it to air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources such as radiators, which can dry out and damage natural fibers.
