Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Milford Peacoat remains in excellent condition, store it on a wide, shaped wooden hanger to maintain the structure of the shoulders. Avoid folding the coat for extended periods to prevent creasing of the heavy melton wool. If the coat becomes wet, shake off excess moisture and allow it to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators. For cleaning, this garment must be taken to a professional dry cleaner specializing in fine wool products. Periodically brushing the wool with a soft garment brush can help remove surface dust and maintain the nap of the fabric.
