Can I use these shoes for running?
While the Salomon Roam GTX is suitable for light activities and everyday wear, it is not specifically designed for running. For running, consider shoes designed specifically for that activity.
How do I clean the shoes?
Use a damp cloth to wipe off dirt and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or placing them in a washing machine. Allow them to air dry naturally.
Are these shoes suitable for winter?
The GORE-TEX membrane provides waterproof protection, making them suitable for some winter conditions. However, consider the level of insulation required for very cold temperatures.
What kind of socks should I wear with these shoes?
Wear moisture-wicking socks to keep your feet dry and comfortable. The thickness of the socks depends on the weather and personal preference.
What is the warranty on these shoes?
Warranty information can vary. Check the Salomon website or the retailer where you purchased the shoes for specific warranty details.
What is the lifespan of these shoes?
The lifespan depends on usage and care. With proper care, they can last for several years. Regularly inspect the soles for wear.
Can I replace the insoles?
Yes, the insoles are removable and can be replaced with custom or replacement insoles for added comfort or support.
Troubleshooting
Water leaking into the shoe.
Check for any damage to the GORE-TEX membrane. Ensure the shoes are properly laced and that the tongue is correctly positioned. Consider using a waterproofing spray.
