The Clarks Wallabee Trainers are a quintessential choice for adults seeking a blend of sophisticated style and reliable comfort for everyday wear. As a standout piece from the Clarks Originals collection, these shoes utilize high-quality suede and the brand's iconic crepe sole to deliver a durable, smart-casual silhouette; however, prospective owners should be mindful that the natural suede material requires specific care to maintain its appearance against the elements.

While the crepe sole is comfortable for daily activities and moderate walking, these are designed as lifestyle trainers rather than dedicated performance hiking or distance walking shoes.
Use a dedicated suede brush to remove loose dirt and a suede eraser for spot cleaning. Avoid using water or standard soap on the material.
Clarks Wallabees generally follow standard UK sizing, but personal preference for fit may vary. It is best to wear them with the type of socks you intend to use daily to ensure a proper fit.
Suede is absorbent and can be damaged by water. It is best to avoid wearing them in heavy rain, or use a high-quality water-repellent spray prior to use to offer a layer of protection.
The crepe sole is a hallmark of the Wallabee design; while not easily 'replaceable' like a Goodyear-welted dress shoe, the durability is intended for long-term everyday use.
Use a soft brush or a blunt edge to gently scrape away debris stuck in the natural rubber grooves.
Allow the shoe to dry naturally away from heat, then use a suede brush to gently buff the affected area.
Gently brushing the suede in a consistent direction will help lift the fibers and refresh the appearance.
To ensure your Wallabees last for years, proper care is essential. Since the upper is made of suede, it is highly recommended to apply a suede-specific water and stain repellent before your first wear. For daily maintenance, use a soft-bristled suede brush to gently remove surface dust and restore the nap of the material. If you encounter minor marks, a suede eraser can be used sparingly. When not in use, store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can fade the beige color over time. Ensure the crepe soles are kept away from extreme heat sources, as natural rubber can soften if exposed to high temperatures.
