FAQs

Are Clarks Wallabee Trainers true to size?

Yes, they generally follow standard UK sizing conventions for adults.

Can these be worn in the rain?

Suede is porous, so it is not recommended for heavy rain. Always use a protective spray to help repel moisture.

How do I clean the beige suede?

Use a suede brush or a suede eraser for spot cleaning and ensure you use products specifically designed for suede material.

What is the sole made of?

The sole is made from signature natural crepe rubber, known for its flexibility and comfort.

Are these suitable for long-distance walking?

While very comfortable for city walking and daily wear, they are not designed as performance athletic trainers for long-distance exercise.

Are there other sizes available?

Yes, the Wallabee series comes in various sizes including 3 through 8.

Troubleshooting

Suede looks dull or flat

Use a specialized suede brush to gently brush the fibers back into position.

Crepe sole has become sticky or picked up dirt

Clean the area with a slightly damp cloth or a soft brush and avoid exposing the sole to extreme heat.

Minor water spots on suede

Allow the shoes to dry naturally away from direct heat, then lightly brush the surface.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Wallabees stay in top condition, follow these guidelines:

Initial Protection: Before wearing, apply a suede-specific water and stain repellent spray.
Regular Cleaning: Use a suede brush to gently remove surface dirt and restore the nap of the material.
Sole Maintenance: If the crepe sole collects debris, use a soft-bristled brush or a damp cloth to clean the edges; avoid harsh chemicals.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading and keep the suede supple.
Compatibility: These trainers fit standard adult sizing. Ensure you check your UK shoe size (this variant is size 7) to achieve the most comfortable fit.
