While it is designed for outdoor performance with drainage, it can be used indoors; however, ensure you have a tray underneath if using on sensitive flooring to manage water runoff.
Yes, the mat is made from ECONYL regenerated nylon, which is created by recycling nylon waste like discarded fishing nets.
Allow the mud to dry completely, shake the mat vigorously, and then use a garden hose to spray the fibers clean.
The material is designed to be weather-resistant and durable, but like all outdoor textiles, color vibrancy is best maintained by avoiding direct, prolonged exposure to extreme UV rays if possible.
The Scion Mr Fox Outdoor Mat is proudly designed and manufactured in Yorkshire, United Kingdom.
Ensure the floor area is completely clean and free of loose grit before placing the mat down to maximize the friction of the anti-slip backing.
Use a mild soap solution and a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub the area, then rinse thoroughly with a hose.
Check if the drainage holes are blocked by compacted mud; use a high-pressure hose to clear the debris from the underside of the mat.
Setup is straightforward: simply place the mat on a flat, stable surface outside your entryway. The anti-slip backing is compatible with various materials including stone, wood, and concrete. To care for your mat, avoid using harsh bleach or chemical detergents. Instead, perform routine maintenance by shaking the mat to remove loose debris. For deeper cleans, place the mat on a hard surface and use a garden hose or a low-pressure jet wash to flush out accumulated dirt. Ensure the mat is placed on a slightly inclined surface if possible to assist the drainage holes in water removal, allowing it to air dry thoroughly.
