Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Setting up your Enhanced Living Austin curtains is straightforward due to their eyelet header design.
- Unpack: Carefully remove the curtains from their packaging.
- Prepare Rod: Ensure your curtain rod is securely installed and is of an appropriate diameter for the eyelets. The eyelets are designed for easy sliding.
- Thread Curtains: Begin by threading the first eyelet onto the rod. Continue threading all eyelets, ensuring the curtains face the desired direction.
- Hang Evenly: Once threaded, distribute the curtains evenly across the rod to create neat folds. Adjust as necessary for optimal drape and coverage.
Compatibility
These curtains are highly versatile. Their `black` colour family and textured linen look ensure they fit perfectly with any decor, from modern minimalist to classic or rustic styles. The eyelet design is compatible with most standard curtain rods, making them a universal choice for various room settings.
Care
Proper care will maintain the longevity and performance of your curtains.
- Cleaning: Hand wash only. Use cold water and a mild detergent. Gently agitate the water to clean the fabric. Do not scrub harshly.
- Drying: Do not tumble dry. Squeeze out excess water gently (do not wring) and hang to drip dry. Ensure they are hung in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
- Ironing: If creased, cool iron on the face side only. Avoid ironing the blackout lining directly if possible, or use a very low heat setting with a protective cloth.
- Bleaching: Do not bleach. Bleaching will damage the fabric and the blackout coating.
