The Regatta Pack-It III Waterproof Jacket is an essential outer layer for adult men who need reliable protection during hiking, festival attendance, or daily outdoor commutes. Its primary benefit is the combination of Isolite 5000 waterproof, breathable fabric and a highly packable design that stows away into its own bag, making it perfect for unpredictable weather. A potential caveat for users is its lightweight construction, which is designed for portability rather than extreme thermal insulation, meaning it functions best as a shell layer in moderate climates.

Yes, the Regatta Pack-It III is machine washable. Follow the instructions on the garment label.
While it is waterproof, it is a lightweight shell and does not offer the insulation needed for alpine skiing; it is better suited for rain protection.
The jacket features a hood designed for extra protection against rain, providing a secure fit over the head.
The jacket is specifically designed to be lightweight and compact, folding into its own integrated bag for easy storage.
Isolite 5000 is Regatta’s proprietary fabric that provides both waterproof protection and breathability, keeping you dry from the outside while allowing moisture to escape from the inside.
This may indicate the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating needs refreshing; wash the jacket and apply a specialized technical fabric reproofer.
This is often caused by condensation buildup; ensure you are not wearing too many insulating layers underneath that prevent the breathability feature from functioning.
Because this is a packable garment, no complex setup is required. To pack the jacket, simply fold it neatly into the dedicated pouch or pocket provided. For care, the garment is machine washable, but always consult the internal care label for specific temperature settings to maintain the integrity of the Isolite waterproofing. Avoid using harsh chemical detergents or fabric softeners, as these can compromise the breathable membrane over time. Ensure the jacket is completely dry before packing it away for long periods to prevent mildew or odors.
