FAQs

Can I put hot pots directly on these placemats?

While these are designed to protect against standard dinnerware heat, they are not intended to be used as heavy-duty trivets for pots taken directly from a stove.

Are the coasters heat resistant?

Yes, they are designed to hold warm beverage mugs, but avoid placing extreme heat sources directly on the veneer.

How do I remove sticky residue?

Use a soft cloth dampened with a mild soap solution, wipe gently, and immediately dry the surface.

Are these placemats dishwasher safe?

No, they should never be put in a dishwasher as the water and heat will damage the wooden veneer finish.

What are the dimensions of the placemats?

Each placemat measures 29 cm by 21.5 cm.

Troubleshooting

Stains or spills on the surface

Wipe immediately with a soft, damp cloth and ensure it is dried thoroughly to prevent liquid absorption.

Mat sliding on glass table

Place a small non-slip silicone pad or adhesive grip dot on the underside corners of the placemat.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the Deenz set is straightforward: simply arrange the placemats evenly around your dining table, centering the coasters at the top right of each place setting. These mats are compatible with all standard wooden, glass, and metal tables. To ensure the longevity of the wooden veneer finish, avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh chemical cleaners. Instead, wipe the surface clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately with a clean towel. Do not submerge these items in water or place them in a dishwasher, as prolonged exposure to moisture can cause the veneer to warp or delaminate.
