This Craghoppers NosiLife SolarShield+ Long Sleeved T-Shirt is designed for adult males seeking advanced protection during outdoor activities. Its key benefit is superior sun and insect defense combined with moisture-wicking comfort, making it ideal for travel and active pursuits. A potential caveat is its specific focus on technical features, which might be less appealing for casual everyday wear. Key features include UPF50+ sun protection, built-in insect repellency, moisture management, and odor elimination, all crafted from a lightweight, grid-textured recycled polyester fabric.

The NosiLife insect repellent treatment is durable and designed to last for the expected lifetime of the garment, typically lasting for many washes when cared for according to instructions. It is integrated into the fabric, not a surface spray.
No, the fabric is not waterproof. It is designed to be lightweight, breathable, moisture-wicking, and quick-drying, not to provide a barrier against rain.
While it provides UV protection, it is a lightweight base layer. For cold weather, it would need to be layered with warmer garments. Its primary function is sun and insect protection in warmer conditions.
No, the NosiLife treatment is incorporated into the fabric's fibers during manufacturing, so it does not alter the feel or texture of the fabric, which remains soft and comfortable.
UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. UPF50+ means that the fabric will block at least 98% of UVA and UVB radiation when worn.
The odour elimination technology is designed to be long-lasting and is effective for the life of the garment, provided it is maintained according to the care instructions. Avoid using fabric softeners, which can impede its performance.
The NosiLife treatment is permanently bonded to the fabric fibers and will not wash out under normal washing conditions. However, harsh detergents, bleach, and fabric softeners can degrade the fabric and reduce the effectiveness of treatments over time.
Ensure the garment is washed according to care instructions, avoiding fabric softeners and bleach. The NosiLife treatment is designed for long-term durability but may gradually reduce effectiveness with extreme wear and washing.
Check that the fabric is not clogged with dirt or residue from detergents. Wash with a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Ensure the garment is not overly saturated with sweat, which can exceed its wicking capacity.
Wash the garment as per instructions using a mild detergent. Avoid storing the garment damp, as this can encourage bacterial growth. Persistent odors may indicate a need for a more thorough wash or that the treatment has reached the end of its effective lifespan.
The SolarShield+ UPF50+ rating is inherent to the fabric's construction. If the fabric is heavily worn, faded, or damaged, its protective qualities may be diminished. Inspect for significant wear and tear.
Setup: No setup is required. This is a ready-to-wear garment.
Compatibility: This t-shirt is designed as a base layer or standalone top for adult males. It pairs well with other outdoor apparel such as hiking trousers, shorts, and jackets.
