The Britton Drive boots feature water-resistant materials, but they are not fully waterproof. It is recommended to use a leather protector spray for added resistance.
Yes, the OrthoLite footbed is removable, allowing you to insert custom orthotics if preferred.
Use a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water, then allow it to air dry naturally away from direct sunlight.
Timberland boots generally follow standard sizing; however, since they are leather, they may feel snug at first before stretching slightly to accommodate your foot shape.
They are suitable for light winter conditions in urban environments, though they lack heavy thermal insulation for extreme cold.
Leather requires a short break-in period; wear them for shorter intervals around the house to allow the material to mold to your feet.
Remove the laces and loosen the tongue when storing; use a cedar shoe tree to help absorb moisture and maintain the boot's shape.
Gently buff the area with a leather-matching cream polish or a neutral leather conditioner to restore the finish.
These boots arrive ready to wear straight out of the box. To maintain the longevity of your boots, follow these care steps: clean the leather upper regularly with a soft brush or a damp cloth to remove surface dirt. For deeper cleaning, use a specialized leather cleaner and conditioner to keep the material supple and prevent cracking. Store the boots in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources. Because of the premium leather, it is recommended to apply a water-repellent spray specifically formulated for leather products if you plan to wear them in frequent wet weather conditions.
