Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before your first hike, ensure the fit is correct by wearing the socks you intend to use on the trail; the Speedgoat 7 should feel snug but not restrictive. Compatibility with custom orthotics is possible if the original insole is removed. To care for your shoes, wipe them down with a damp cloth after every hike to remove grit and mud. Allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can degrade the adhesive and upper materials over time. If the shoes become heavily saturated, remove the laces and stuff them with newspaper to help absorb moisture.
