FAQs
Are these shoes waterproof?
While the construction is durable and suitable for trail use, they are not strictly marketed as waterproof. Avoid deep water submersion to keep feet dry.
Can I use these for road running?
Yes, they are versatile, though the trail-focused lugs are optimized for dirt and gravel rather than pure road racing.
How do I determine the right size?
This specific variant is a UK 12.5. We recommend measuring your foot at the end of the day when it is at its largest for the best fit.
What is the primary material?
The trainers use a blend of synthetic textiles and durable materials characteristic of the ACG (All Conditions Gear) line.
How often should I clean the outsoles?
Clean them whenever you notice significant buildup of mud or rocks to maintain optimal traction and prevent uneven wear.
Troubleshooting
Reduced grip on wet surfaces
Check the outsole for debris lodged in the lugs and clean the soles thoroughly with a stiff brush.
Discomfort during long walks
Ensure the laces are tensioned correctly across the midfoot and check that your socks are moisture-wicking to prevent friction.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Nike ACG Pegasus Trail trainers, follow these guidelines:
- Sizing: Ensure you are using the correct UK sizing (this model is UK 12.5). A proper fit is essential to utilize the shoe's support structure.
- Cleaning: Remove caked-on mud or dirt with a soft brush after every hike. Use a damp cloth with mild soap for surface cleaning; avoid submerging in water or using harsh detergents.
- Drying: Air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, as high heat can compromise the adhesive and cushioning materials.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the cream and brown fabrics.
