The Nike ACG Pegasus Trail is designed for adult male athletes who transition frequently between city streets and rugged trail paths. Its primary benefit is a highly stable, lightweight build that keeps you comfortable during long runs on mixed terrain. Note that while these shoes are highly versatile, they are optimized for moderate trails rather than extreme, technical mountainous climbing.

The Nike ACG Pegasus Trail features a breathable mesh upper designed for airflow, which means it is not fully waterproof.
Yes, the ReactX foam and design make them perfectly suitable for road running, though they are specifically optimized for mixed terrain.
Use cold water and a mild detergent to gently scrub the exterior. Air dry only, never use a tumble dryer.
The ReactX foam provides a highly responsive, cushioned feel that helps return energy to your stride while protecting joints on hard surfaces.
The redesigned toe box and wider forefoot construction offer a more accommodating fit for various foot shapes, including those that are slightly wider.
Ensure the laces are tightened adequately and consider using gaiters if running on particularly sandy or rocky trails.
Check the tread for embedded rocks or mud that may be reducing surface contact; clean the outsole with a soft brush.
To ensure your Nike ACG Pegasus Trail trainers remain in peak condition, perform a quick check of the outsole lugs after each muddy run to remove debris. If the shoes become dirty, hand-wash them with mild soap and cold water, avoiding the use of a washing machine or dryer, which can break down the foam integrity. The trainers are compatible with standard performance running insoles if you require custom orthotics. Always allow your shoes to air dry away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, to preserve the mesh upper materials.
