Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup
There is no complex setup required for your Seasonal Mountain Jacket. Simply take it out of its packaging, unfold it, and it's ready to wear. Adjust the drawcord on the hood and the unique drawcord tunnels at the elbows to achieve your preferred fit and comfort level.
Compatibility
This jacket is designed for adults and is suitable for males. Its versatile design makes it compatible with various layering systems, allowing you to wear it over a base layer and mid-layer for added warmth in cooler conditions, or as a standalone piece in milder weather. It's an excellent outer layer for lifestyle activities, hiking, travel, and casual wear where lightweight, water-resistant protection is desired.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your jacket. Always refer to the care label inside the garment for the most accurate instructions.
- Preparation: Ensure all zippers are closed and turn the jacket inside out before washing.
- Washing: Machine wash separately using a mild liquid detergent (avoid powder detergents, fabric softeners, bleach, or stain removers) in cold water on a gentle cycle. Harsh chemicals can degrade the DWR finish and fabric integrity.
- Rinsing: Rinse the jacket thoroughly to ensure all detergent residue is removed.
- Drying: Tumble dry on low heat with a few clean tennis balls to help restore loft and reactivate the DWR finish. Alternatively, hang dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Avoid high heat.
- Do Not Bleach or Iron: Bleach can damage the fabric and DWR. Ironing can melt or distort the polyester material and damage the DWR coating.
- Storage: Store the jacket clean and dry, either hung or loosely folded. Avoid compressing it for extended periods to maintain its shape and loft.
