No, this anorak is water-resistant, meaning it can handle light to moderate rain. For heavy downpours or prolonged exposure to wet conditions, a fully waterproof jacket is recommended.
Machine wash inside out using cold water. Tumble dry on a low heat setting. Avoid bleach and dry cleaning. Always wash with fasteners closed.
This anorak is designed for weather protection and is not heavily insulated. It is best worn as an outer layer over other warm clothing during colder months.
PFC-free means the water-repellent treatment does not use perfluorinated chemicals, which are considered harmful to the environment. It still provides effective water resistance.
The jacket can be folded and stored inside one of its own pockets, making it very compact and easy to carry in a backpack or bag.
It's ideal for hiking, camping, travel, and everyday wear in conditions with light rain, wind, or variable weather. It functions well as a rain and wind shell.
The North Face offers this style in various colors and sizes. Please refer to the product listings for available options.
Reapply a PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment according to product instructions. Ensure the jacket is clean before treatment, as dirt can impede effectiveness.
The elasticity is inherent to the design. For a different fit, consider layering options or exploring other models if a custom fit is essential.
This is likely due to condensation, common in water-resistant (not fully waterproof) breathable garments. Ensure you are not overheating inside the jacket and allow for ventilation when possible. It is functioning as intended for its resistance level.
Setup: This product requires no assembly. It is ready to wear straight out of the packaging.
Compatibility: Designed as outerwear for adult males, it can be layered over various types of clothing, from t-shirts to light sweaters. Its primary function is weather protection.
