Setup
The Candy CBG52SX is designed to be built into a 60cm canopy hood cabinet. Ensure that the cabinet is correctly sized and that the hood is installed according to the manufacturer's instructions. You may need professional assistance for electrical connections.
- Carefully unpack the hood and check for any damage.
- Position the hood within the cabinet, ensuring it's level.
- Connect the ducting or install the recirculation kit if needed.
- Wire the hood to the power supply, following local electrical codes.
- Test the hood to ensure it operates correctly.
Compatibility
This hood is compatible with standard 220-240V electrical outlets. Make sure your kitchen has adequate ventilation, and if you plan to recirculate the air, ensure you purchase the appropriate kit. The exhaust connection diameter is 12 cm.
Care
- Cleaning: The metal grease filters can be removed and washed by hand or in a dishwasher. Clean the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Maintenance: Regularly check the filters for grease buildup and clean them as needed to maintain the hood's efficiency. Replace the filters if they are damaged or worn.
- Bulb Replacement: The LED lights are long-lasting, but should they need replacing, consult the user manual for instructions.
