Product Information

Full details

The Trakker Big Snooze Wide Bed System is designed for anglers who prioritize on-the-bank comfort and rapid setup without the bulk of traditional sleeping systems. This all-in-one solution provides a stable, wide sleeping surface and an integrated sleeping bag, making it ideal for overnight sessions where efficiency is paramount; however, its larger footprint requires careful consideration for anglers using smaller bivvies or compact gear transport.

FAQs

What are the dimensions of the bed?

The bed measures approximately 204cm in length and 90cm in width.

Is the sleeping bag removable?

The system is designed as an integrated unit for maximum convenience, so the bag is not intended to be detached for separate use.

Can I use this on very steep banks?

While the adjustable legs help with uneven ground, we recommend finding a relatively flat area for safety and stability.

How do I clean the mudfeet?

Wipe the mudfeet down with a damp cloth after use to prevent dirt buildup in the joints.

Is this bed heavy to carry?

It is constructed with a lightweight frame, making it manageable for most anglers despite its wide dimensions.

Troubleshooting

Legs are difficult to adjust

Check for debris or grit in the adjustment collar and clean with a dry cloth.

Bed feels wobbly

Ensure all six legs are locked in the fully extended position and the mudfeet are resting on stable ground.

Difficulty folding the bed

Check that the sleeping bag material is not caught in the hinge mechanism before attempting to fold.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Integrated system reduces the need to carry separate items
Generous 90cm width enhances overall comfort
Adjustable legs accommodate various ground conditions
Lightweight design makes transport easier
Stable mudfeet prevent sinking in soft mud

Cons

Larger footprint may not fit in compact bivvies
Fixed integrated bag limits flexibility compared to separate modular systems
Requires significant space during transport

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up the bed, unlock the main frame hinges and unfold the system on flat ground. Extend the adjustable legs until the mudfeet rest firmly on the surface and the bed remains level. Ensure all locking mechanisms are fully engaged before applying weight.

Compatibility: This bed is best suited for medium to large-sized bivvies due to its wide 90cm frame. Always check your shelter dimensions before purchasing.

Care Instructions: Keep the frame joints free of sand and grit to ensure smooth operation. The sleeping bag can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth. For long-term storage, ensure the fabric is completely dry to prevent mold or odors, and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
