FAQs
What are the dimensions of the HD40?
The bed is 212cm long and 83cm wide, with a height adjustment range of 38cm to 51cm.
Can I remove the duvet for warmer weather?
The duvet is integrated into the system for optimal thermal performance, but it can be detached for cleaning or storage if required.
Is this bedchair suitable for long-term storage in a shed?
It is not recommended. Ensure it is stored in a clean, dry environment to prevent the foam and fabric from deteriorating due to moisture.
Does it come with a carry bag?
The system uses compression straps and hinge mechanisms for transport; it does not include a full carry bag.
What is the weight capacity?
The reinforced steel frame is designed for high durability and heavy-duty use, providing stable support for most anglers.
How do I adjust the lumbar support?
Underneath the mattress, you can adjust the tension of the elastic cords to make the base firmer or softer according to your preference.
Troubleshooting
Legs feel stiff when adjusting
Clean any mud or grit from the leg adjustment points and apply a light silicone-based lubricant to the sliding parts.
Bed feels uneven or wobbles
Check that all eight legs are locked securely into position and ensure the mud feet are resting on solid ground rather than loose debris.
Zips are catching
Ensure the anti-snag guards are not folded into the zip path; straighten the fabric alongside the zip line to ensure smooth operation.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup is straightforward: unclip the compression straps, unfold the bed, and adjust the legs until the frame is level. The bed features fast-fit toggles, allowing you to quickly attach compatible Nash accessories such as pillows or extra thermal sheets.
Care Instructions:
- Storage: Always store in a dry place. If the bed is packed away while damp, unfold it at home as soon as possible to allow the mattress and duvet to dry thoroughly to prevent mildew.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the steel frame with a damp cloth. The nylon surfaces can be spot-cleaned with mild soap. Do not use harsh chemicals on the hinge mechanisms.
- Maintenance: Periodically check the leg tension and ensure the spring-loaded `one-touch` mechanisms are free of grit or sand.
