FAQs

How do I clean my Salomon X-ULTRA boots?

Use a soft brush and lukewarm water to clean the boots. Avoid using harsh chemicals or detergents.

Are these boots waterproof?

The X-ULTRA PRIME 2 models are often made with waterproof materials like Gore-Tex, providing protection from the elements. Check the specific model's details for confirmation.

How do I break in my new hiking boots?

Wear the boots around the house for short periods, gradually increasing the wear time. This helps the boots mold to your feet.

Choose moisture-wicking socks made of synthetic materials or merino wool to keep your feet dry and comfortable.

Can I use these boots for trail running?

While the X-ULTRA is designed for hiking, it can also be used for light trail running. However, for dedicated trail running, a specific trail running shoe might be more suitable.

What is the warranty on these boots?

Warranty information can vary by retailer and region. It's best to check the manufacturer's website or the store where you purchased the boots for warranty details.
