The adidas Duramo SL 2 Running Trainers are designed for adult runners looking for a reliable, entry-level shoe that transitions smoothly from daily training to their first 10k race. Featuring a lightweight design with stable cushioning and an engineered mesh upper, these trainers offer a supportive, comfortable ride for beginners; however, they are primarily built for road running and may lack the aggressive traction needed for technical trail terrain.

Yes, they generally follow standard UK sizing, but always ensure you check the UK size specifically rather than relying on US or EU labels found on the internal tongue.
Absolutely. The stable LIGHTMOTION midsole makes them suitable for treadmill sessions and light gym work.
General guidance is to replace running shoes every 300-500 miles, depending on your running surface and body weight.
Yes, the internal liners are typically removable if you need to insert your own custom orthotics.
They are breathable, which means they are not waterproof. They will get wet in heavy rain, but the mesh will dry out relatively quickly afterward.
Try a 'runner's loop' or 'heel lock' lacing technique to secure your ankle more firmly in the padded heel collar.
Use a dry soft-bristled brush to gently whisk away dust and debris after every run to keep the breathability pores clear.
Before your first run, ensure the lace closure is adjusted to your preferred tension to lock the heel in place. Because these are UK-sized trainers, verify the fit using the UK size guide rather than international equivalents found on the box or label, as sizes may vary by region.
To clean your trainers, remove excess dirt with a soft brush, then wipe the upper with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid machine washing or drying, as high heat can damage the foam and adhesive. Allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources like radiators to maintain the structural integrity of the cushioning.
