Nike Pegasus Trail 5 Gore-Tex - Grey - UK 7.5

Yes, the Nike Pegasus Trail 5 Gore-Tex features a Gore-Tex membrane that makes them fully waterproof, keeping your feet dry in wet conditions, rain, and shallow puddles.

They are best suited for varied terrain including dirt trails, gravel paths, light to moderate technical trails, and wet or muddy conditions. They offer a balance of cushioning and stability for diverse outdoor environments.

Brush off loose dirt, then use a mild soap and cold water with a soft brush or cloth for deeper cleaning. Air dry naturally away from direct heat. Do not use harsh detergents or put them in a washing machine or dryer.

Generally, Nike Pegasus Trail shoes tend to run true to size, but fit can vary. It's recommended to try them on, especially if you plan to wear thicker socks. This specific model is UK 7.5.

While primarily designed for trails, their responsive cushioning makes them comfortable enough for short stretches of road running to and from trailheads. However, the outsole is optimized for off-road grip, so prolonged road use might wear down the lugs faster.

They can be used in hot weather, but the Gore-Tex membrane, while breathable, may offer less ventilation compared to non-waterproof trail shoes. For very hot and dry climates, a non-Gore-Tex version might be more comfortable.

Ensure pants or gaiters are covering the top of the shoe to prevent water from entering over the collar. Check for any physical damage to the shoe's upper. Replace socks with moisture-wicking alternatives.

Adjust lacing to a looser fit. Ensure you are wearing appropriate socks. If discomfort persists, consider if the size or width is correct for your foot. Foot swelling during longer runs is normal; consider lacing adjustments.

While designed for grip, no shoe is infallible on all surfaces. Adjust your stride and pace on extremely slick surfaces like wet rocks or deep mud. Clean the outsole regularly to ensure treads are free of caked-on dirt.
