Product Information

Full details

The Trespass Adavale Full Zip Fleece is designed for active kids who enjoy outdoor adventures, such as hiking and camping. It offers a lightweight yet insulating layer that keeps children warm without being bulky. While it excels at temperature regulation and layering, it is designed primarily as a mid-layer and may not provide sufficient protection in heavy, sustained rain without a waterproof outer shell.

Troubleshooting

Zipper is catching on the fabric

Gently pull the fabric away from the zipper track and ensure the internal storm flap is laying flat before zipping.

Material is showing signs of pilling

Use a fabric shaver or a specialized lint comb to gently remove surface bobbles after washing.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Easy for children to put on and take off independently.
Efficient insulation that maintains warmth when wet.
Highly packable for travel and school bags.
Durable material designed to withstand active play.

Cons

Provides minimal wind resistance on its own.
Not waterproof; requires a jacket cover in wet conditions.
May require extra care to prevent pilling over time.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To keep the fleece in peak condition, follow these simple care guidelines: Always close the zipper before placing it in the wash to prevent snags. Machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can degrade the moisture-wicking properties of the fleece material. For best results, hang dry in a ventilated area away from direct heat sources. Because of its low-profile design, this fleece is highly compatible with most children's outer rain jackets or insulated parkas, serving as a reliable thermal base or mid-layer.
