FAQs

Is this fleece machine washable?

Yes, it is machine washable. We recommend a cool 30°C cycle to preserve the fabric quality.

Does this fleece have a hood?

No, the Trespass Breker Printed Microfleece features a standard collar design.

Is the material waterproof?

The polyester microfleece is not waterproof and should be worn under a shell jacket in wet conditions.

What is the benefit of the anti-pilling treatment?

The anti-pilling technology prevents the fabric from forming small balls of fiber (bobbles) due to friction, keeping the surface smooth.

Can this be used for layering?

Yes, its lightweight nature makes it an excellent mid-layer for use underneath waterproof or windproof jackets.

Are the pockets zipped?

The product features convenient front pockets, but they are open-style for easy access rather than zipped.

Troubleshooting

Static electricity buildup

Lightly mist the inner fabric with a water and fabric softener mix, or use a dryer sheet when washing to reduce static.

Fleece feeling flat or less warm

Give the garment a gentle shake after washing to 'fluff' the brushed fibers, which helps restore the loft and insulation properties.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Extremely soft and comfortable against the skin
Anti-pilling fabric maintains aesthetic quality over time
Easy-to-use snap fasteners for quick ventilation
Lightweight and packable for travel or hiking
Versatile design suitable for both sport and leisure

Cons

Not windproof on its own in extreme conditions
Snap buttons may be less secure than a full-length zipper
Limited to a single-layer thermal function

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Trespass Breker maintains its performance, follow these care guidelines:

Washing: Machine wash on a cool setting (30°C) with similar colours to prevent fading.
Drying: Air dry naturally. Avoid tumble drying, as high heat can damage the synthetic fibers and compromise the anti-pilling finish.
Storage: Fold neatly or hang in a cool, dry place. Avoid using wire hangers that might stretch the shoulder seams over time.
Layering: This size M garment is designed for a standard fit; it works best when layered over a moisture-wicking base layer and under a waterproof outer shell for a complete three-layer outdoor system.
