Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Pegasus 42 trainers perform at their peak, perform a proper break-in period of 10-20 miles before taking them on a long-distance race. Because the fit is updated for a wider toe box, ensure you use a runner's loop or secure lacing if you prefer a locked-down feeling. Regarding care, always air-dry your shoes at room temperature after wet runs; avoid placing them near heaters, as extreme heat can degrade the foam's integrity. For cleaning, use a soft-bristled brush to remove dried mud and a damp cloth with mild soap for surface stains. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, as this can compromise the adhesives and the Air Zoom unit structure.
