The Regatta Fenton Softshell Trouser is designed for adult men who require a balance of mobility and protection during outdoor activities like hiking, travel, or everyday active use. Crafted from a durable stretch polyester, these trousers offer excellent windproof properties and water resistance, ensuring comfort in varying weather conditions. While they excel in breathability and freedom of movement, users should note that they are optimized for light, rather than extreme, wet-weather conditions.

They feature a water-resistant finish designed to shed light rain, but they are not fully waterproof or suitable for heavy downpours.
They are ideal for cool to mild weather due to their windproof nature, but you may need an additional thermal base layer for extreme winter temperatures.
Machine wash at a low temperature using a gentle cycle, and skip the fabric conditioner to keep the water-resistant coating effective.
The dense weave of the polyester fabric offers a natural barrier against the sun, though they are not specifically rated for UV protection.
The design includes functional pockets intended for secure storage; check the specific garment tags for details on closure types.
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating can be reactivated by tumble drying on a low heat setting or applying a specialized re-proofer spray.
Avoid contact with sharp, abrasive materials like barbed wire or rough rock faces to maintain the integrity of the polyester weave.
To ensure your trousers maintain their water-repellent performance, avoid using harsh fabric softeners during laundering. Machine wash on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and hang-dry whenever possible to preserve the elasticity of the waistband. Because these trousers are made of synthetic polyester, they are naturally quick-drying, making them an excellent choice for multi-day trips where gear needs to be washed and dried overnight. Store in a dry, cool place to prevent any moisture buildup in the fabric fibers.
