FAQs

Are these gloves suitable for general cycling?

While the gloves offer good grip and protection, they are specifically designed for the demands of motocross. For general cycling, other glove models might offer better ventilation and a fit tailored for that activity.

How do I determine the correct size?

Refer to the brand's sizing chart, typically available on their website or the product's retail page. Measure the circumference of your palm and the length of your middle finger to find the best fit.

Can I wash these gloves in a washing machine?

It is recommended to hand wash the gloves with mild soap and cold water. Machine washing and drying can damage the materials and reduce their lifespan.

What does 'Clarino™' palm mean?

Clarino™ is a synthetic leather material known for its durability, softness, and excellent grip, often used in high-performance gloves.

Are the knuckle protectors very bulky?

The knuckle protectors are made of direct-injected TPR, designed to offer protection without excessive bulk, allowing for a good range of motion.

What is the main benefit of the neoprene cuff?

The moulded neoprene cuff with a Velcro closure ensures a secure and comfortable fit around the wrist, preventing the glove from slipping during intense riding.

Troubleshooting

Gloves feel too tight or too loose

Adjust the Velcro closure on the neoprene cuff for a more secure or relaxed fit. Ensure you have selected the correct size based on hand measurements.

Touchscreen functionality is inconsistent

Ensure the Clarino™ palm is clean and dry. For best results, use the fingertip area of the glove on the screen.

Palm material showing signs of wear

Inspect for tears or excessive thinning. If significant wear is present, consider replacing the gloves to maintain grip and protection.

Cons

  • May be too specialized for casual cycling or everyday use.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: These gloves are ready to use straight out of the packaging. Simply slide them onto your hands and secure the Velcro closure for a snug fit.

Compatibility: The Fox Racing Dirtpaw Gloves are primarily designed for motocross and dirt biking. The touchscreen-compatible palm allows for interaction with most capacitive touch screens.

  2. Drying: Air dry away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Do not tumble dry.
