Fox Racing Youth Dirtpaw Motocross Dirt Bike Glove - Black

These gloves are specifically designed for youth riders aged 6 to 14 years old.

The gloves are not designed to be waterproof. They offer protection from trail debris and impacts but are not intended for use in wet conditions where waterproofing is required.

Refer to the brand's sizing chart for youth gloves, which typically involves measuring hand circumference. The compression-molded cuff with hook and loop closure allows for some adjustment for a secure fit.

While optimized for motocross and dirt biking, their protective features and grip could make them suitable for other similar outdoor activities where hand protection is needed, though they are specifically branded for dirt riding.

The padded single-layer Clarino® palm is designed for durability and comfort, providing a good balance of feel and protection for trail riding. Its longevity depends on usage intensity and care.

These gloves offer some warmth due to their materials but are not heavily insulated. They are best suited for moderate riding temperatures. For very cold conditions, insulated or specialized winter gloves would be more appropriate.

Direct Inject TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) means the protective knuckle guards are molded directly onto the glove material. This creates a durable, integrated layer of protection that is less likely to detach and offers good impact resistance.

Ensure the hook and loop closure is not overtightened. If the glove consistently feels too small, consider if a larger size or a different youth glove model might be more appropriate. The youth-specific fit is designed for a particular hand shape.

Ensure the padded Clarino® palm is clean and dry. Static electricity can sometimes interfere; try rubbing the screen with the glove a few times. Check that the specific device is compatible with capacitive touchscreens.

Check the care instructions. Ensure the gloves were washed on a gentle cycle and line dried. If a seam failure occurs despite proper care, contact the retailer or manufacturer regarding warranty.

The direct inject TPR knuckle coverage is designed to be protective. Some stiffness is normal initially. Wear the gloves for a few shorter rides to allow them to break in and conform to your hand shape.
