Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best performance from your Speedgoat 7s, start by ensuring a secure fit; the lacing system should be snug but not restrictive to maintain circulation. Since these are high-performance trail shoes, avoid using harsh chemical cleaners that could degrade the GORE-TEX membrane or the adhesive on the outsole. To clean, remove loose mud with a soft brush after your hike and rinse with cool water. Allow the shoes to air dry naturally in a shaded, well-ventilated area—never place them in a dryer or near a direct heat source like a radiator, as extreme heat can warp the midsole foam and damage the waterproof lining.
