Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best experience, break in the shoes on shorter, flat terrain before embarking on long, technical hikes to allow the materials to adapt to your foot shape. Compatibility is standard for hiking and trail running, though the shoe works best with moisture-wicking synthetic or merino wool socks to maximize the efficacy of the internal membrane. For care, avoid machine washing. Instead, remove loose dirt with a soft brush after each use. If the interior gets wet, remove the insoles and stuff with newspaper to air dry slowly; never use direct heat sources like hair dryers or radiators, as this can damage the GORE-TEX membrane and midsole adhesives.
