The Dr. Martens Sinclair Ambassador Platform Boots are designed for adults seeking a robust, fashion-forward boot that balances rugged durability with a customizable fit. Featuring a unique removable front zip and premium tumbled Ambassador leather, these boots offer versatility and a personalized feel as the material shapes to your foot over time. While the heavy-duty Quad platform sole provides excellent height and style, potential buyers should note that the substantial sole and leather construction require a brief break-in period.

Yes, the front zip is completely removable, allowing you to switch back to a standard lace-up style whenever you prefer.
The Quad platform sole has a height of 4.5cm, providing a significant boost while maintaining stability.
Because it is a tumbled, oily leather, it is best to clean it with a damp cloth and use a leather conditioner to maintain its supple texture and appearance.
Dr. Martens typically run standard, but because these are a platform style in a structured leather, some users find them slightly snug initially until the leather stretches to fit.
The hardware is antique gold-finished metal, which provides the aesthetic look of gold while maintaining the durability required for footwear.
The leather and sturdy sole provide good protection, but they are not specifically waterproof, so it is recommended to apply a leather protector spray if wearing in wet conditions.
This is normal for high-quality leather. Wear them for short durations indoors to allow the leather to mold to your foot shape gradually.
Ensure no fabric or debris is caught in the zipper teeth. Applying a small amount of zipper lubricant or a candle wax can help smooth the movement.
Apply a high-quality leather balm or conditioner to restore the natural oils in the Ambassador leather and bring back the finish.
When you first receive your boots, take time to adjust the laces to your preferred tension before inserting the removable zip. Once set, you can easily use the zipper for quick on-and-off access. To maintain the life of the Ambassador leather, clean away dirt using a damp cloth or a soft brush. Periodically apply a leather conditioner or cream specifically designed for tumbled leather to keep the material hydrated and to prevent cracking. Avoid submerging the boots in water, and allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources to preserve the integrity of the leather and the adhesive bonding of the platform sole.
