Yes, the front zip panel is removable, allowing you to wear the boots as a traditional lace-up style.
The Quad platform sole features a 4.5cm wedge heel.
Yes, the Ambassador leather is designed to mold to your feet, becoming more comfortable and flexible with regular wear.
While the leather is durable and features an oiled finish, they are not strictly waterproof; we recommend using a leather protector spray for added moisture resistance.
Dr. Martens typically run true to size, but since they are made of stiff leather, you may prefer an insole or thicker socks if you are between sizes.
Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently buff the antique gold hardware to maintain its shine without scratching the surface.
Wear the boots for short intervals with thick socks and apply a leather conditioner to help accelerate the break-in process.
Ensure the lace tension is loose enough to allow the boot to open fully, and apply a small amount of zipper lubricant if necessary.
Gently buff the area with a soft cloth or apply a small amount of brown shoe polish to blend the scuffs into the pebbled grain.
To ensure your Sinclair boots last for years, proper care is essential. Use a damp cloth to wipe away surface dirt after wear. Because the Ambassador leather has an oiled finish, you should occasionally apply a suitable leather balm or wax to maintain its moisture and prevent cracking. When setting up the fit, ensure the laces are adjusted correctly before using the zipper; once the laces are set to your preference, the zip makes subsequent entries effortless. Avoid excessive heat exposure to prevent drying out the leather.
