FAQs

Are these trainers suitable for running?

The BOSS Titanium Runn Trainers are designed for active lifestyles and casual wear. While comfortable for light jogs or walks, they are not specialized running shoes for high-impact or long-distance running. They prioritize comfort and style for general daily activities.

How do I determine the correct size?

These trainers are listed in UK sizing. We recommend choosing your standard UK shoe size. The knitted upper offers some flexibility for a comfortable fit.

Can I machine wash these trainers?

No, machine washing is not recommended. It can damage the suede trims, knitted upper, and overall structure of the trainers. Please refer to the 'Care' section for proper cleaning instructions.

What kind of socks should I wear with these?

Due to the 'unlined' and breathable knitted design, thin or athletic socks are generally recommended for optimal comfort and to enhance the trainers' lightweight feel.

Is the recycled polyester durable?

Yes, the recycled polyester used in the upper is selected for its durability and quality, ensuring that the trainers maintain their structure and appearance with proper care, while also being an environmentally conscious choice.

Do these trainers provide arch support?

The innersole contains polyester, viscose, and polyurethane. While providing standard cushioning for everyday wear, if you require specific arch support for medical reasons, consulting with a podiatrist or using custom insoles might be advisable. Info needed: detailed arch support information.

What is the primary material of the sole?

The sole is composed of 70% Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and 30% Rubber. This combination offers a balance of lightweight cushioning and durable traction.

Troubleshooting

Trainers feel too loose/tight

Adjust the lacing system. The sock-style knitted upper offers some flexibility, but proper lacing is crucial for a secure and comfortable fit.

Suede trims appear dirty or worn

Use a specialized suede brush to remove loose dirt. For stubborn stains, a suede cleaner specifically designed for cow skin products should be used carefully according to product instructions.

Unpleasant odor develops

Ensure trainers are fully air-dried after each use. You can also use shoe deodorizers or sprinkle baking soda inside overnight to absorb moisture and odors.

Sole traction seems reduced

Clean the sole regularly to remove embedded dirt and small stones, which can affect grip. Check for excessive wear on the rubber sections.

Care

Cleaning: For the polyester knitted upper, gently wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. For suede trims, use a specialized suede brush or cleaner to remove dirt and maintain texture. Avoid harsh chemicals.
Drying: Allow trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, which can damage materials, especially suede.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using shoe trees can help maintain their shape.
